Add more Live Shape Presets
Please add shape presets for common shapes such as donuts, pies, tear-shapes, double stars (stars with two different lengths of points), square stars, cloud shapes, trapezoids, double arrows, cogs, and crescents. This would streamline the process of creating flat vector icons if there were shape presets for these common shapes. The idea would be to add adjustable anchor points to preset versions of the shapes mentioned above that the user could adjust in the menu or control panel. For example, for the cloud shape, the two parameters could be the number of bubbles & the inner radius(the radius of the valleys between bubbles as a percentage of the radius of the maximum radius)).
This is valuable to me because I use this shapes a lot in my vector drawing/artwork.
You can now try the Star as a Live Shape in the latest Beta 28.3.0.47
Please test it and share your feedback on the tool.

Illustrator team is going to add a Star live shape: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/32360224
No curvy sides though.Triangle you can create already, using a polygon with 3 sides. Same with octagons — create a polygon with 8 sides.
Partial circles would hardly ever be at separate shapes from the existing ellipse, which you can modify to be halves and quarters...If you need more shapes and more control over them, take a look at DynamicShapes plugin by Astute Graphics: it has hearts, gears, crosses, bubbles, etc.

Illustrator is WAY overdue for more shapes.
Triangle
Hearts
Half Circle
Quarter Circle
Octagons
Diamonds
Tear Drop
Stars (More variety! For instance, a star with the edges between the points curved inward.)
Half Moon
Chevron
Cross
Tree
Cloud
Word Bubble
Etc.Yes, you CAN create all these already, but it takes time and is frustrating. Just give is a palette of vector shapes that we can quickly pull from when coming up with designs. If you need an example of this, check out the app 'Assembly'.

While Ai team takes its time, there is an external solution for this, Dynamic Shapes plugin form AstuteGraphics paid plugins pack. It has a lot of your examples included, but some are very specific. However, I believe you can request those from the developer. Worth trying a demo at least.

Multiple shape tools like like affinity designier has.
You guys are creating stupid things that noboby will ever use and simple things like this you ignore.
