New artboard adjustable spacing
When the New Artboard button in Control panel is clicked, an artboard is created next to the current one. The spacing between these is not tweakable.
I work in metric units, on 10×10 millimeters grid. The space between artboards’ edges is 7.056mm. Yeah, I know, it’s 20 points, sure, but why should I care about points when units are millimeters? Why can’t I use a value that makes sense to me?
Furthermore, it is dangerously close to 7 and looks like an integer until you check it.
Please, allow to set a spacing manually in Artboard Options or elsewhere — and KEEP the value, per document, per workspace, per settings set, any reliable way. You have a lot of work to do with default values...

The ability to change the spacing of the artboard when you add it (setting).
The gap is too narrow when adding a site to an existing document, not when creating a new document.
I want to add an art board with a wide gap from the beginning.
I'm lazy to keep organizing artboards. -
Oh, Lewis, I see. Having a fix is good, but a value in UI is better, don’t you think? :)

A workaround until Adobe give us an easier way to adjust artboard gaps.
Open the "Adobe Illustrator Prefs" file in a text editing app. The AI prefs doc is located here on a Mac:
Users > yourname > Library > Preferences > Adobe Illustrator 25 Settings > en_USSearch for the following string:
/isArtboardLayoutLeftToRight 1
/artboardLayout 0
/artboardRowsOrCols 1
/artboardSpacing 20.0
/numArtboards 1Replace the 20.0 on the artboardSpacing line with your preferred value. Unit is in px. If you work in another unit of measurement, convert to px first. Save as a plain text doc. And of course, make a copy of the original prefs before you make your edits. Good luck.

When I duplicate an artboard with artwork extending the bounds of the artboard, the duplicated artboard with its artwork overlaps the original artboard. Currently new artboards are offset 20 pixels. Can we have that 20 pixels increased, or better yet, when we create or duplicate an artboard, can AI go into artboard editing mode so we can move the artboards around without it moving the artwork from the original artboard. Clip demonstrates the problem.
