An error occurred while saving the comment Lewis Tsalis supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Lewis Tsalis commentedWhen I duplicate an artboard with artwork extending the bounds of the artboard, the duplicated artboard with its artwork overlaps the original artboard. Currently new artboards are offset 20 pixels. Can we have that 20 pixels increased, or better yet, when we create or duplicate an artboard, can AI go into artboard editing mode so we can move the artboards around without it moving the artwork from the original artboard. Clip demonstrates the problem.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.4.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lewis Tsalis commentedNot fixed for me in 25.4beta. Still removes fill when changing stroke colour/attributes.
An error occurred while saving the comment Lewis Tsalis commentedShort clip showing bug. Actually, you can trigger this bug by performing any stoke based change. i.e., cap or corner style, stroke alignment, miter value, etc.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lewis Tsalis commentedHaving issues with AI 25.3.1 update and object redraw. When I drag elements around the artboard they start breaking up and pixelating. Video showing issue attached. MacOS 10.14.6.

Hi Everyone,
We have fixed this bug in our latest release – v 24.2.1 which is available worldwide now. Thanks for your patience on this.
Please note that after upgrading you might still see that Align To sets itself to Align to Key Object. If you see this, please manually set the Align To to the required setting, and this reported bug will not happen again. You’ll need to this one time only.
The reason Align To might get set to Key Object after update is because Ai remembers your last Align To on subsequent launches as well. So, if your last Align To was Key Object before quitting/upgrading, after first multi-selection, it will set itself to Key Object. After you manually change it one-time, it will work fine.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lewis Tsalis commented@John I second the bug fix for the Distribute Space issue that John pointed out. This has been an issue for some time now where the spacing input field does not become active.

A workaround until Adobe give us an easier way to adjust artboard gaps.
Open the "Adobe Illustrator Prefs" file in a text editing app. The AI prefs doc is located here on a Mac:
Users > yourname > Library > Preferences > Adobe Illustrator 25 Settings > en_US
Search for the following string:
/isArtboardLayoutLeftToRight 1
/artboardLayout 0
/artboardRowsOrCols 1
/artboardSpacing 20.0
/numArtboards 1
Replace the 20.0 on the artboardSpacing line with your preferred value. Unit is in px. If you work in another unit of measurement, convert to px first. Save as a plain text doc. And of course, make a copy of the original prefs before you make your edits. Good luck.
