Dynamic outline (as an effect?)
I really wish we could have a dynamic way to create outlines for strokes (with arrowheads in particular) without having to 'break' them into shapes first.
It could be an effect, for example. And yes I have tried the existing 'Outline' effects but the do nothing (or am I not using them right?).

Stéphanie, Outline effects can be tricky to grasp, but once you understand them, you get a very powerful tools. Try to experiment more and study how users like https://twitter.com/coro46 and https://twitter.com/Vektorgarten use the Appearance panel.
Check the file attached, it uses one of the methods you can use to make a live offset for a live stroke with a live arrowhead.
