    To speed up deleting words, I wish Illustrator has an option to delete whole words using the both delete keys (num keyboard).

  4. Add Canadian English to languages

    Canadian English is missing from the language list. It has grammar and spelling rules of its own, and it is strange that despite its inclusion in InDesign it is missing in Illustrator.

  5. Always show text panel option by default (always on)

    The fact that we now have to click a button to show optional items for the text panel in Illustrator hinders my workflow. It would be nice if we could make the options visible be default (always have them shown). For anyone creating logos or working with type, this is an absolute must!

  7. Please add weibei-TC-bold font back to adobe applications.

    I am unable to use "weibei-TC-bold" in my previously saved AI files from 2018 and 2019. I have been using this font for my business logo for two years.

  8. You have 'deactivate all fonts' feature. But we need also 'activate all' feature

    You have 'deactivate all fonts' feature. But we need also 'activate all' feature.
    I have contacted one of your support regarding font issue, most of my activated fonts are gone in the software, but active in the website. He told me to deactivate all, I did but the thing is I want to activate again all my font that previously deactivate all but you don't have that option, now I have to spent my precious time to activated all one by one, and that is bad!

  10. New text alignment icons in the paragraph panel

    I would suggest to add new text alignment icons in the Paragraph panel.

    It would be useful to have the possibility to align text to the top, the center and the bottom of a text box.

  11. Change forms of Pan-CJK font in language dropdown menu

    Super OTC Pan-CJK font like "Source Han Sans" has multiple forms of character in same unicode. In Indesign, we can change them by choosing language in dropdown menu, but in Illustrator, it works only for hyphenation and we can't choose CJK languages.

    Please add function to change forms without installing Subset OTF.

  13. Recent fonts button in character panel

    We can disable the recents fonts list in the character panel by making the number of recent fonts 0 in preferences panel. While working it always changes if you need to see recents fonts or not. I suggest to put a "show recent fonts" button the top of the character panel, near the "show recently added", "show activated fonts" buttons. The name of button can be "Show recents fonts". It is that simple. And we again can define the number of recent fonts from preferences panel.

  14. I think Adobe should purchase TypeStyler and incorporate it into iIllustrator. It would be a fantastic addition .

  15. Do not change the order of characters in the Glyphs panel

    Problem Description:
    If I've highlighted a character, and choose a different variation of that character in the Glyphs panel, the newly chosen variation moves to the left of the glyphs, changing the order of all the glyphs. This is really annoying. If, instead of the order of the glyphs changing, the blue highlight just moved on to the selected glyph, that would be far less confusing.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Select a character in some text
    2. Open the Glyphs panel to see the variations of that character
    3. Select a different variation

    Actual Result:
    The ordering of the variations…

  16. Keyboard command for "Find and Replace" Text or ability to add a Keyboard Shortcut.

    In Adobe Illustrator: Why is there not a keyboard command to bring up the "Find and Replace" dialog box or the ability to add your own Keyboard Shortcut to do this?

  18. Accents / Diacritics accessibility

    i'm using Illustrator and I need to type in Portuguese/Spanish so i need to use accents like áàê

    Everywhere else on Mac OS if I long press the key I get an accent pop up, like this:

    In Illustrator, this never shows up.

    I know there are workarounds (glyphs window, other mac shortcuts and keyboard viewer) but none of those is practical.
    That accent pop up is shown everywhere else in the system except for Illustrator, which is very frustrating

  19. remove trailing whitespace

    I would like to be able to remove trailing whitespace from images in Illustrator. I would use InDesign but I want to be about to use the flexibility of artboards in illustrator.

  20. Drag .otf or .ttf file into illustrator and it appears as a lorum ipsum text box on your artboard

    Not sure if this is possible but how great would it be if you could drag a .otf or .ttf file (font) into illustrator and it automatically processed as a lorum ipsum text box.
