Yes, the ability to copy an artboard and its contents (as well as copying multiple artboards) would be incredibly helpful. Thanks!
Yes, please. I am trying to copy multiple artboards [68 of them] from one file to another existing file. Doesn't seem there is any way to do that...
Adding my vote for this, wishing I could do it right now.
Please implement this feature, I miss it very much.
It would save precious time for designers when organizing file structure.
This would be so useful (right now!)

Really surprising this isn't already a solid feature.
Please introduce this! Would save SO SO much time!
we need this now!
@s We know that you can copy artboards within one file. This thread is about copying multiple artboards from one file to another.
You can do this by going on the top menu and open: window --> artboards --> you should be able to see list of artboards.
Now, select multiple items on that list (shift + click).
After you have selected multile artboards, use Artboard Tool (shift + O), and hold alt while dragging around multiple artboards.
Release the mouse button (while still holding the alt button) and viola -- you have copied multiple artboards.
It works for me, I have just done it.
2018 guys, 2018 cmon...
Crazy this isn't a thing
It seams silly that it is still not possible. This feature would save a lot of time!

100% Agree - I would use this feature a lot
Specifically, I'd like to select multiple artboards from one file, then drag them to the tab of another document, and drop them in. Ideally, the art on the artboard would go too.
I need this too
