Keyboards shortcuts not working
Using Apple’s Magic Keyboard with my iPad Pro 12”, and this is the only app that doesn’t respond to keyboard shortcuts, although it should.
I tried multiple times, reopening the app, and it still doesn’t work. Illustrator is unusable on my iPad, as I cannot even merge multiple layers into a group and use the simplest shortcuts like copy/paste, or use the arrows on my keyboard to move objects quickly.
Does someone have a solution to have the keyboard shortcuts ?

I also had the same problem, contacted adobe support via chat didn’t solve the problem. What I did to fix it was try to turn off Full Keyboard access, go to your Ipad Setting-Accessibility-Full Keyboard Access, turn that setting off, all the keyboard shortcuts finally work.

I have a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and I am experiencing the same issues. Not being able to use keyboard shortcuts removes a lot of the functionality of illustrator for ipad

I have the same problem with my Zagg keyboard and 2021 12.9 iPad Pro. Shortcuts work fine in Fresco, but zero input to Illustrator. Weird and very frustrating!

I’m having this issue too. I’ve been in touch with Adobe on Twitter and so far no answer as to why an external keyboard isn’t able to continually input keyboard shortcuts.
