Attach nodes easily and lines control by clicks (touching the lines)
The nodes end should be easily snap together.
For now, I have trouble snapping the node ends.
It should be a click away. Click, drag and snap.
Then the line control. With powerful apple pen, it should be easy to edit or adjusting the lines, yes, other than nodes, playing around with the curve using pen should be easier than more options/popups and clicks.
Make the learning curve shorter a few clicks.

Include the ability to resize (scale), rotate and manipulate selected points
There should be an option to be able to resize and manipulate selected points in artwork. Maybe once the points have been selected there could be a scale tool modifier? Or a specific scale tool in the toolbar...

Gradient Mesh
Once after you add the necessary basic tools I would like to see that included, because it will be a big difference maker with your competitor affinity + it’s the reason why I want to use illustrator on my iPad and not buy a new PC

control for number of points on a star
The star tool doesn't have the ability to change the number of points like the polygon tool does. if you could add your star and then add multiple points and adjust the "pointyness" like the desktop app that would be good

Shape Builder tool. It’s the best!
You know what i mean, and you know how useful and versatile it will be. Imagine how powerful the AI app will be if it has a shape builder tool.

Pencil tool options - like on desktop illustrator
Would be lovely to have more control of the pencil tool. I simply tried doing my signature and it was getting all distorted because the points were connecting wherever they pleased... impossible getting line right when working on smaller details. Pencil Tool would be extremely helpful to have for future work. Thank you kindly.

Envelope, Warp, and mesh distort tools
Same as on the full version, something that’s definitely missing from the iPad version.

Adobe illustrator for iPad Pro Vector Line editing
The Ipad version off illustrator, really needs a way to edit vector lines after they have been drawn. I mean I don't think it's only me that sees line editing as one of the main reasons why I draw with vectors.
Ipad should just as Vectornator be able to edit drawn vector lines and to smooth drawn vector lines, otherwise I may just draw with procreate..
Same thing with adobe fresco vector lines.
If those features would be added the program would be off great use.

iOS Illustrator has no Apple Pencil specific features
I find the Creative Cloud apps on my Apple iPad Pro do not proper take advantage of the Apple Pencil. Other apps can distinguish between Pencil input and finger inputs to provide better and more intuitive drawing. There are finger-Pencil combinations, finger vs Pencil input choices, and so on. For example, one of the more useful options I have seen in other drawing apps are the Pencil as the normal brush while the single finger is used for smudging or erasing. Adobe should adopt something like this. Optimally, a separate selection for each Pencil and finger inputs. Additional actions could…
