Show current active layer It would be great to always be aware of the layer you are working on. Dockable submenus could keep the layers in open view to be sure that is the layer pen strokes will be collected on the appropriate layer if you accidentally touch another part of the project

Use touch shortcut + "stack" icon for send to back/send to front Surprised I didn't see this suggestion yet! Dragging up/down with the stack icon to rearrange layers can be a pain once you have a bunch of layers, especially when you can accidentally select and move other layers while trying to do it. What about holding the touch shortcut and dragging up or down to send to front or send to back, respectively? It doesn't seem like the touch shortcut currently interacts with the stack icon. It would be a huge timesaver!

Make it possible to delete layers Make it possible to delete layers via sliding and clicking on a trashcan. And just like in the desktop version ask ‘are you sure’.

Should be able to select/edit layer by simply selecting. On the native app, when you click on a layer, the layer is highlighted and you have the ability to move that layer as long as it’s not blocked. On the iPad, it seems that you can only select a layer by looking for the layer directly from the layer panel.
This is very frustrating and tedious, and honestly puts me off using the app. Something so simple to remedy.

1 vote -
Find locked layers When I select a layer on the artwork it says locked. I would like to see an indicator in the layers panel of where the object is located, so I can unlock it. It is very hard to find white locked objects.

Locate and find selected paths in layers panel When the artwork becomes more complex, it’s almost impossible to locate selected object in layers panel, except doing it manually. You should mark the layer, group, clip group, that contains the selected object. Just like you did with a little square on the right side of the layers panel on desktop version.
Keep on with such a great work!0 votes
