Ability to link artboards
Can you add the ability to link artboards like in affinity designer so that whatever is being done to the first artboard shows on the second. This is a great feature fore textile pattern designers so that we can work in a smaller artboard but see what the repeating pattern looks like on a bigger artboard and be able to fix mistakes easier. I know illustrator has a pattern maker but it is very buggy and isn’t as good for making a pattern tile.

Ah, OK, you refer to iPad version of Ai, not a desktop one,

'Repeats' don’t get translated into 'real' patterns, unfortunately. They are easy to setup, sure, but then you can’t operate them fully, both on iPad or desktop versions. Hi Egor. Thanks for replying. You are correct, it is with symbols in Affinity Designer. I didn't know Ai did the same thing. I can't find that feature in iPad Ai and I can't find any tutorials anywhere.
As for the pattern maker, I meant the grid option on iPad. It is buggy in the sense that some of my objects disappear and the program freezes and sometimes force closes even when I am working with a small file.

Monique, how do you 'link' artboards in Affinity Designer? As far as I know, the only way to do the trick there is to use symbols, a pretty much the same thing Ai can do. I am not able to locate anything about 'linking' there specifically anywhere.
As for the 'pattern maker', do you mean the Pattern Options panel and the dedicated mode? What problems do you have with it and what bugs do you encounter?
