    Hi Egor. Thanks for replying. You are correct, it is with symbols in Affinity Designer. I didn't know Ai did the same thing. I can't find that feature in iPad Ai and I can't find any tutorials anywhere.

    As for the pattern maker, I meant the grid option on iPad. It is buggy in the sense that some of my objects disappear and the program freezes and sometimes force closes even when I am working with a small file.
