Would the iPad version will also be available for Microsoft in the future?
I would love to use my Surface or Book 2 with a similar app as Illustrator for iPad.

It would be amazing if grid settings were saved with each individual file! Thanks a bunch, all!
So you don’t have to readjust the grid each time you reopen a file the next day to work on it, and so you could duplicate a file for a new project and the your go-to grid settings would already be there to get you started on the next piece. Many thanks!!

Multi select
Wish we could select multiple items by touching and holding one item and doing the same with other item. Then we could drag various items. And doing the same with anchors.

Tile multiple documents
It would be nice to be able to tile multiple documents next to each other to be able to see different artwork at the same time and drag elements back and dowry between the two. Right now I have to close out of one artboard and open another file from the main menu.

bigger select radius
I often deselect a point by accident as the tap radius to select it is very small. Maybe increase the radius.

Inkpad tools
I'm preferring Inkpad app (which has open source software) for vector drawing as it has these functions that makes it easier to draw. maybe you guys could implement these to get the Illustrator app to that level:
- shape draw tool in the toolbar
- add anchor point tool on the toolbar
- double tapp point to change point type
- drag, hold an tap to change the anchors
(see video to see how these tools work)1 vote -

Better precision cursor on the art board
The native cursor is all right for navigating menus and such but I feel it’s too clunky for using on the canvas. Or I suppose it would also be nice if the cursor could snap to points on a path.

Choose the distance between each artboard copy
When I have some element outside the artboard it can be annoying when you want to duplicate it. It moves the outside element of the original artboard.
It could be a good feature if we could choose the distance between each copy.

Modify color properties of imported images , jpg, png etc
This is another very basic missing feature...
Imported images need to be able to be manipulated...
Isolate select areas
cut paste to new layer
Move rotate
erase
Change color
Etc
Very fundamental and urgent1 vote -
Re-link muliple files at the same time
I have a png file and want to replace it with a tif.
For instance, there are 200 trees on a masterplan, all the same file, I just want to select them all in the links panel and re-link to the tif file instead, yet it's 2021 and Illustrator still can't do this basic function - Indesign can??? I have to individually re-link each one.....

Version Bookmarks / Autosave
Autosave eliminates experimentation that can be backed out of easily. Of course you can duplicate the file before opening it and use a version file name to track, but it would be nice if this could be done within one document. If the notion strikes while working in a document, it would be nice to have a bookmark feature or the like to save the document version. Experiment from there, have the option to bookmark the experiment, go back to the first bookmark, experiment again, bookmark second experiment, compare experiments, that sort of thing.
