Dimension Tool is gone in update 28
In update 28, the new Dimension Tool is gone or no long present. So I installed the previous version and got it back! Definitely a tool to keep, very useful in the sort of work I do. Please bring it back in the updated beta version and once tested sufficiently make it default for the steady version of illustrator.

The Dimension Tool is back in the latest Beta.
It has no improvements over the previous version of it, and all sub-modes still do nothing, but it’s back again. The team is going to make improvements.
Thank you all for reporting you need it. Please don’t hesitate to report anything you want to say about Ai and upvote existing reports and requests — it really helps.

The tool is not present in my version 28.0.48. The old measurement tool is present.

Dimension tool is missing in version 27. i can't find it in the advanced tool nor does it show up on the search bar. the tool was a life savior addition , i depend on it.

Gisbert, the Dimension Tool will return in the next versions — the team has been making some changes.

ich vermisse seit dem letzten Update - oder besser gesagt Downgrade die Bemaßungsfunktion... :(( Die war jetzt richtig gut und nun habe ich wieder viel Mehrarbeit, weil ich jede Bemaßung wieder einzeln zeichnen muss :/
