Manual Dimensions don’t stick to the objects they are intended to be linked to
Starting form Ai Beta 28.4.0.7, dimension objects are sticky (linked) to the objects we click with the Dimension tool — so that when we move or transform the objects, their linked dimensions move with them.
For some reason this applies only to 'Aligned dimensions' (those that are made with the click-drag-release method).
When we use click-click-click method, Illustrator creates 'Manual dimensions', which look the same way as the aligned ones, but for some peculiar reasons that makes no sense to us, are not sticky.
This means that we can’t apply live and linked dimensions to objects that are anything more…
26 votesThe latest Beta 28.5.0.78 allows manual dimensions to stick to arbitrary points and recalculate correctly when objects are repositioned or transformed — just as we expected it to. This includes gaps also.
Please try it and see if it works for all the cases you have and comment back.

Pasted items automatically get deselected in Beta 29.5 35
Copy an element and paste it. It should be in a selected state, but it isn't.
13 votesWoks as expected in Beta 29.5 52
However, this build got Shift broken for constraining transformation, so it’d be wise to wait for the next Beta build, where it is reported to be fixed.

bring back old trace dropdown menu
Illustrator's trace menu now shows giant hot air balloon icons instead of a compact list, and also trace menu panel is buggy and does not work
7 votesThe team has revised the UI for Image Trace and reverted it to the way it looked in 27.0. So far this is only available in the latest Beta version, but it is planned to make it released soon.

Can’t select objects by clicking their fills with Direct Selection Tool in Beta 29.5.0.15
It’s no longer possible to select objects using the Direct Selection Tool without clicking on either the object’s edge, or the object's center point. Clicking on the object's fill does not select the object. This has worked normally up until the 29.5 release.
Same happens when trying to select a part of a dynamic symbol.
Group Selection and Selection Tools works fine.5 votesThis issue is fixed in 29.5.0.35 Beta build, as well as the latest Prerelease build

Beta AI exports pictures as skewed and grayscale, with visible parallel lines
When exporting JPG design Ai ruins the end-file. It is in grayscale and skewed as if would have been printed on bad printer.

Export As with Use Artboards now fully include all the object on the artboard and doesn’t crop them as expected
Something is terribly wrong with Export As.
For some reason 'Use artboards' no longer works in Beta 294.0.73 as expected. Here, I expect the parts of the circle to be cropped — but the resulting PNG includes all objects on the artboard.
Happens for other formats and multiple artboards.
This is PAIN.Does not happen in GA build!
2 votesThe latest Beta 29.5.0.15 has it fixed

Asset Export Not Respecting Individual Assets
When exporting properly grouped and named assets in the Asset Export panel, SVG, PDF, JPG, EPS, and Ai files will export multiple versions of assets in the file, but PNG files export properly.
2 votesThis is expected to be fixed in the latest Beta Build 29.5.0.15 — please check if this now behaves as expected and comment back

Multipule Mockups in One Document Bug
So the mockup feature is great! The team who worked on that should all get a nice raise and a long paid break. The one issue I have found when using it so far is when doing more than one mockup in a document, the second mockup won't read the image properly, say a person, and instead attribute the white space as the mockup area. This unintended bug can be used for some symbolic artwork, but isn't what I was going for. Plus if you go back and edit the first mockup, the bug will affect that, completely ruining any…
