   The issue got resolved by pasting the artwork in a new document. However, the cause of the bug is unknown. Please vote and comment if something similar happens for you.

   It appears to be something to do with that document. I've opened another 'new' project and the tools work. I'll copy and paste to a new doc and see if that fixes

   I see there is a v27.3, but it isn't showing up on my creative cloud for some reason. Was hoping the bug fix may have been in there?
