   The 29.1 general release now allows to add gradient and pattern swatches into color groups.

   Hi Egor, thank you for taking the time to comment.
   I would be super happy to use a script. I have found one to add a date created but not one that updates when changes are done to an artboard. It's probably possible in indesign but my work doesn't have that licence. Dedicated layers like for the dimension tool is a great idea too.
