Please share your thoughts on the following:
1. Would it make sense to have a separate desktop app, just to create charts, and bring them inside Illustrator or InDesign? It may not be on cloud.
2. Or would you rather have us work on building it within Illustrator?
Thanks
YogeshAn error occurred while saving the comment Tomas Amsrud commentedI would prefer to have the graph tool inside Illustrator.
Benefits with "inside illustrator" would be:
- easy to combine graph with illustrator objects
- easy to have same style between regular illustations and graphs
- keep the possibily to break apart a graph when special needsAn error occurred while saving the comment Tomas Amsrud commentedAfter creating a graph, it is often useful to resize it. If changing the width-height ratio, it now resizes unproportional.
It should be a way to resize a graph correctly.

Tried workarounds suggested, and it works for some time, but returns.
But one interesting discover:
After exporting a svg, and seeing that the svg is not created.
If I then choose "Reset Layout" the svg magicaly gets created, even if its minutes since the export dialog was closed.
So the export is somewhat qued, but not executed before I reset the layout (using the default Layout layout).
I can add that I'm using multiple screens an a Mac (OS X 10.11.6).
