    I have formatted point text added to a CC library. I'm not sure of that's a bug or just an annoying feature ( ;) ) but every time I paste it (as a copy) it changes to a paragraph text despite it being point text. Sure, I added a shortcut to convert it but it is still annoying (I use this a lot). Is this a bug? Feature? Am I missing something in settings?

    I was forced to update Illustrator (which is messed up on its own) today just to find out if wiped all my settings plus I can't even load my workspace (it appears in the menu but just one panel opens, resetting it didn't help).

    I investigated some more and here are my findings :)

    - I can paste them and they stay in place
    - I can type them in the layer options dialogue box but not in the layers panel

    It works fine in standard 2025 version

    Thank you! I was looking for it in preferences and somehow missed this one :)

    I turned it off and after turning it on again I can't replicate the glitch. If it comes back I'll record it. The glitch: name duplicated when the artboard was moved or resized. The duplicated name dissapeared when zoomed in and out/panned.

    It works as intended!

    Not a fan of artboard's name being displayed tho. It also glitches when resizing/moving the artboard.
