(Same issue as another bug, but adding additional and differing details here:)
This has happened multiple times, consistently. It isn't a one-off incident.
Adobe Illustrator CC 23.0.1 / macOS Mojave 10.14.2
Step 1: Open Illustrator from desktop icon.
Step 2: Click on a recent file from displayed recent file option thumbnails.
Expected result: Selected file opens.
Actual result: The file directly below the one clicked opens (one row down) i.e. selection offset.
On launch from closed, the cursor selects the file one row below the thumbnail of intended file within the grid, with the hover-highlight activated on this incorrect file. This happens every time I open illustrator (version 23.0.1) on macOS Mojave 10.14.2, iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) but reverts to correct highlighting under the cursor & selection if I close the initial document and am presented with the Recent Files Browser again (same session)
