24.2 -- no better. "Save In Background" on or off, still slow. Windows 10/64-Pro, Quadro 5000, 128 GB RAM (not a typo), 2 SSDs and a video RAID. Slow, slow, slow. Even slow to close a file.
Used to be it was Bell Telephone that said "We don't care, because we don't have to." Now it's Adobe.

This one is clearly not resolved and we should all agree Illustrator doesn’t offer a bulletproof way to disable all the promotions and advertisements about new features. No matter how cool any new feature is, we should be able to never get popup messages, unless they directly relate to our own artwork.

Please share, comment, and upvote this, to inform the team about how important it really is.

"Tour" popups do not go away, and appear repeatedly.

Tours and similar popups should be an OPT-IN only feature. Many of us have been using Illustrator and other Adobe products for 20 years. We don't want to "learn how" at this point. We want to use our software without needless screen clutter.

In the meantime, please provide an update (soon!) that will let us turn off this "feature". Preferably, for all CC apps at once. Thank you.
