I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.0.2 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Using the paintbrush tool, when drawing a continous shape/line, it stops drawing after a little while, even if I keep the pen pressed, or mouse button (same result).
If I use the GPU rendering/viewing mode, the GPU usage keep climbing if I keep drawing, until it reaches 100% GPU usage and stops working. And that is on a RTX 3090. On CPU view mode, it stops way sooner/faster, after 3 seconds almost. As soon as I let go and stop drawing, it completes the shape, but only up until the point that it stopped drawing.

Latest Illustrator 2021 version, but also happens in Illustrator 2020
