Hi friends! I have some great news for your today. Rotate View (Canvas) feature is available in Illustrator 25.3 (Desktop) now. Thank you all for your feedback which helped us shape up this feature.

@Pia Backhausen I know this is not really what you want but it exist a tips for that.
Just make a symbol of your elements (like vertex group who constitute all elements of a face).
Clic and drag your group in "symbol" tool window.
Rotate it and place it where you need.
Double clic on it to open and modify it, it automatically return to initial position.
Save it.Guillaume supported this idea ·

We have released the support for Gradient swatches in CC library with our latest release - v29.3
You can select the gradient swatch in swatches panel and add it to CC Library through the button on the bottom bar in the panel. You can also select any object which has gradient applied and add that gradient to CC Library through Add Elements from the Libraries panel and choose Fill Gradient from the drop-down menu.
Please update to this version from your Creative Cloud Desktop application and let us know your feedback.

Both 'Fit to Artwork Bounds' and 'Fit to Selected Art' commands can be inserted in an action using the 'Insert menu item...' command from the Actions panel’s flyout menu.
This approach can be used to insert other commands which Illustrator skips while recording. You can read more about it here: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/automation-actions.html
