Hiperlinks
Right now you must use Acrobat or Indesign to integrate hiperlinks in the file. You can do the 0% opacity trick (putting a hiperlink in 0% opacity on top of the text you want to link) but it's not usable or efficient.
I have so many files that are 90% illustracions, so it's the best for me to use Illustrator, but I would love to include the links in the file, not having to edit it in other softwares afterwards...1 vote -

Two desimal
Can we please have option to use only two desimiles on units.
We use millimetres and four desimile is waaaaaay too much. Two is just enought. Example what we have noiw 1200,0000 mm, 1200,00 is what we want.Tommi Koski Tarrateksti **

Chart enhancement request
Most of the time I work on creating charts, sometimes which will be recurring charts. So my request is if we can embed spreadsheet just like in Indesign for tables, it would save time and also if we have option to add values on top of column chart and at the same time controlling alignment would be much helpful.

'Load Paragraph styles' does not work as expected
In InDesign, if you 'Load Paragraph styles', any Paragraph styles with the same names get updated, and any text that has those paragraph styles applied change appearance.
In Illustrator, this doesn't happen. It ignores the imported styles as it already has styles of that name. There is no 'import options' to able to change this behaviour.

MAKE IT WORK!!
If anyone can tell me why all my illustrator files become corrupted when i open them as in the attached i would be very happy. The problem is also found when trying to draw a simple ellipse or rectangle (it gets filled with jagged junk)! Is this a version problem?? Grrrrrr

Distortions for Decurving warped art
You know what I would like Illustrator to have? A way to plugin our actual grid warp information like a wonderful plugin from a few decades ago, called "CurveIt" that was from PCC Packflow (which was acquired by Artwork Systems, which is now "Esko"). It allowed us to plug in a negative value to de-curve using these fields. This would be very helpful for the packaging world where we have to decurve artwork back into a straightened format for redesigning.

Find and Replace Text in Object Name in the Layers Panel
Add the ability to perform a find and replace in the names of object. For example: If I have a seating chart with 10 rows, I want to be able to name each seat in the row such as "Row A - Seat 1", "Row A - Seat 2", etc...
After I create one row then copy and paste it to create Row B, I need the ability to highlight that grouping and replace all the "A"s with "B"s and so forth with each row.

Illustrator home version
I used Illustrator for years while I was a student but I'm no longer in school and didn't end up in graphic design. However, I still use illustrator for a number of personal projects. It doesn't make sense for me to pay for a subscription in order to use it a few times a year. Wouldn't it be possible to pull the existing coding for just the basics, like shapes, bezier, color, alignment and text and create a home version? For a flat fee, one-time purchase?

A4 Size Error
Since the latest update, the size of a new document is showing more digits after the comma, which results in the wrong size of the A4 format. Instead of 210 x 297 mm it shows 210.0016 x 297.0001 mm. Please fix this.

Open file from windows explorer with Illustrator while minimised
When in Windows 10 and I have a explorer window open from doing an import into another app Eg. InDesign and then while having the file list open then right clicking on a file to open with Illustrator I get a window too small error (if illustrator currently has been minimised in some way. It would be nice if this file open with illustrator could open the app window bigger so that it could display the file for editing.

Show linked files from Illustrator files in Bridge
It works for Photoshop and InDesign files, why not for Illustrator ones? All of them are built on the XMP platform.

File versioning...
This would probably be quite an undertaking to add, but it would be awesome if you could add versioning to AI files - the ability to save "states" or different versions of a file, using diff internally to minimize file size.

please add extended wordcount
I need to count the number of words in a complicated diagram with a lot of text boxes.
Grant proposals require a maximum number of words and they also count the number of words in graphs and illustrations. So please just tell me how many words are in a document so I don't have to select and copy paste hundreds of words out of textboxes into a wordcounter (or Indesign). That would be great in the future. This is tw also not possible in Indesign because you need to select the text to get a count, whereas I need to…

Stop censoring the term "M.a.g.i.c W.a.n.d" to **********
Trying to search for feature requests related to the ********** tool (M.a.g.i.c. W.a.n.d.), reveals that the Adobe uservoice site is censoring the term. Either your moderators are 12yo boys giggling at obscure euphemisms, or you're so reluctant to alter the functionality of the MW tool that you're purposely obscuring all attempts to garner support for any feature requests.

Hi. when I open lower version artwork with new illustrator 23.1 and 24.02, content in layout deviation, but I opened the older version there was no problem.
