Not able to cancel a free trial, how is this accomplished, your customer service had no idea.

cup die line template maker tool
. I needed to create a sticker or litho wrap around a bucket and a cup. I needed a tool that allows me to put in the circumference of a top circle and a bottom of the circle and the size of the side between the top and bottom.

Previous versions of illustrator showed the id of individual elements within layers in the layers window
Previous versions of Illustrator would show the id of individual elements within layers in the layers window. Now they just show as "path" or "compound path." I generate maps as svg files from a database with a program of my own design and then import them into Illustrator for final editing. Sometimes there is a problem with one or more elements. Before I could go to Illustrator, select the problem element, and see in the layers window what its id was. Then I could go to my database and fix the problem. I can't do this anymore. It would be nice to have a remember password function. Why do I have to put in my password every time I open illustrator? Infuriating.

Too small to use?
When scaling down a complex drawing especially one created by image trace it often says cannot complete the operation because it would make some objects too small to use. So how can i scale my group? Can you just disappear those objects? If they are too small to use they must be too small to see so make them go away. Or it could automatically select them so you have the option to delete them. Width tool feature
Hi
As you can see from the file the split in the lower right corner is much bigger than the rest. And I was told that that is because AI treats the starting point of an object different. This makes it difficult to make symmetrict shapes without a lot of extra work.
Therefor I was hoping this was something You could do something about in a future update

Allow calligraphic strokes for default fill/stroke
I regularly use a calligraphic stroke in my work. It would be good if a calligraphic stroke could be applied to the default fill/stroke settings via the Graphic Styles panel. This would save a lot of time in my daily workflow.

appearance fill shape options rectangle - set percentage also (instead of points)
Hi! In Appearance fill "shape options" where one can set background rectangle. It would be good if you could set percentage values and not only points. Because it limits the use. Then the look depend on how big your artwork is. It is a difference to have 10 point margin to a square 100 point rectangle compared to 1000 point rectangle. So please add that possibility. Thanks!

For Illustrator CC 2019, sometimes when I open a document, it says it's open but it's not visible. Only the chrome is.
This is a bug that needs to be fixed.

Opening Last opened/recent documents
Problems opening Last opened/recent documents in Adobe Illustrator
I teach Adobe Illustrator to around 60 16 year olds.
When they first open the program & either double click on the image of their last document it often won't open. In fact it often opens another recent file, but not the one they actually have clicked on. The only way round I have found to get up their work is to >window & turn Application Frame off? This is far from ideal & I don't understand why it's suddenly started happening......

Give Illustrator the same functionality panel of Data Merge of Indesign. Works better and supports Data Tabbed exported from Excel.
