  1. Please add an ability to align points using the Align panel

Please add an ability to align individual points using the Align panel. This has always been an option, but it seems to have been removed.

  2. Moved and pasted objects keep thrown off by 0.0001 pixels

I'm trying to copy, paste, then merge items. However, the pixels keep getting thrown off by .0001 pixels. Even when I put it back in place, it moves back to .0001 px above or below the actual coordinate. I already spoke to a team that did not do anything about it. This has been costing me literally over 100 hours of wasted time. I now give up and can't sleep knowing my pixels are not rounded to the nearest desired coordinate. Somebody for the love of God fix the **** bug. It's super duper annoying, especially for the OCD and…

  3. Live align

    1. With this live align feature, you could have two objects maintain their alignment properties even if you change one of the objects. For example, if you have a rectangle and text inside it. You should be able to align the text to the rectangle. Later, when you change the text or change the rectangle, it should keep the alignment settings persistent. So, if you made the rectangle longer, the text would remain centered on the longer rectangle.

    2. I center objects within groups all the time. As far as I know, there is no way to make changes to objects and…

  4. Dropdown menu for alignment to specific artboards

I work with multiple artboards files every day and I constantly use the align tool to align to what I think is the artboard I have highlighted, only for it to jump to a different board. It would be awesome if you could click and hold for a menu to dropdown and then select the artboard to align that item to.

  5. Rotate with arrow keys. Hold R to turn nudge in to rotate.

I love being able to nudge the selected object with the arrow keys, I want a modifyer key that allows rotation in the same way. example: R key + arrow key rotates. Left and right arrows might be one degree increments. Up/ down could be 15 degree - which quickly gets people to the super common angles 30, 45, 60

  7. Duplicate & Distribute Objects

An automated option to duplicate an object (or multiple objects) on an entire artboard.
You could edit the space between the objects on the X and the Y axis.
it would be super awesome if it would center multiple layers or objects before duplicating them. this thing could help the entire printing industry.

  10. Multiple Artboard Alignment at same time

My name is Mujtaba from Pakistan, And I have been working as a Professional Designer.
It is stated, that when we have multiple artboards, and when we need to arrange all the group or individual Object/Element in all artboard, we are enable to do so using Adobe illustrator CC 2021 yet.
For example: We have 20 artboards and 20 different objects, now someone like to arrange each object in their own artboard, then there should be option that the object inside each artboard arrange to it's self. We have to arrange individually abroad and object one by one which takes…

  11. 「中央に整列」を実行したときに、座標の平均ではなく選択範囲の中央に揃えたい / Align to center of selection instead of average of coordinates when "Align Center" is executed

    ---------(used the translation tool)---------

In Illustrator on desktop, select multiple objects, and in the "Align to Selection" setting, execute "Vertical ( or Horizontal ) Align Center".

The objects will then be aligned at the average of their respective center coordinates.

However, the same operation in Illustrator on iPad produces a different result. The iPad's "Align Center" aligns the object at the center of the selection (bounding box), rather than at the average of the coordinates.
As far as I have confirmed, Photoshop and InDesign also have this specification.

    • It is difficult…

  14. Please a "Center to page" in the MENU BAR. And...

Centering objects to page requires several steps... Many times in design, one needs to center an object to the page. by having that action in menu bar it can be done very quickly and efficiently. It can also be in the RIGHT click drop menu.

  15. Is there an option to set single keys and function keys as hotkeys?

Is there an option to set single keys and function keys as hotkeys?

I'm used to another vector drawing program in conjunction with Illustrator and that program has some very easy to use hotkeys that are essential for shape alignments, like C for horizontal centering, E for vertical centering, B for bottom of a shape and T for top, etc. On Illustrator I can't set a single keyboard key as a hotkey for the alignment functions without the use of Ctrl or Shift before the key. That's just a no go for me.

    And since I use F5 as a…

  16. Align to bleed

Have an align to bleed option, anything going to print generally has a 3mm bleed and it would be handy to bet things to align to this instead of the edge of the artboard.

  17. Make Align and Distbute work for direct selected Paths

When subPaths of groups are selected, Align or Distribute works on the complete group, where we expect to work on the selection.

  18. Highlight an anchor point used as a key object

Keying an anchor point is a lesser known option for aligning and distributing.

Clicking an object in a selection to key it is a thing that can be learnt by a chance (that is how I learned it myself), but using the latest selected point as a key is not a behaviour that is easily noticed.

The change of the mode is marked only via the small icon in the corner of Align panel, and nothing else on the artboard tells about it — compare this to the fat edge a key object uses.

Can you try to make a…

  19. Alignment options to outside (top, bottom, left, right) of key object

I would really benefit from options to automatically align an object to the outside edge (top/bottom/left/right of its bounding box) of a key object. For example, "Align below" would put the top edge of the bounding box of the repositioned object flush with and below the bottom edge of the bounding box of the key object.

While I can try to achieve the same results by dragging the object around and using smart guides and snapping, that may require a lot of time (and a little luck) when there are several nearby objects that smart guides are being generated from,…

  20. Bring Back Align To as a USER CHOICE !!

No ONE solution fits for ALIGN TO function. How about going back to when USERS HAD CHOICES. The fancy dynamic feature sucks. I want control BACK to what is being align. I don't want that. tool to change how it works. Bring Back Align To as a USER CHOICE !!
