A big persistent Color palette offering RGB and HSB and Grayscale at a glance.
When making Illustrations, I switch between RGB / HSB and Grayscale all the time. I have a 30" screen - room enough to show all mixers all the time.
Please make this possible.

      Relates to this request:
Make the hex code box visible for all color modes on the color panel. Not just RGB modes.

commentedI agree with this. Having all 3 panels available, CMYK, HSB, and RGB, would make color editing much easier. It'd also simply be helpful to have this so that the hex code can be easily accessible at any time, solving this issue here:

commentedI need access to both RGB and HSB color values/sliders in my workflow. Currently I use the Color palette set to RGB (since it won't stay on HSB) and I use the MagicPicker extension for HSB. I use them both so frequently that it's a pain to use one and menu-dive to change it, I really need both simultaneously. My request is that the color palette in AI be multi-mode, e.g. allow me to open all of the color slider sets I want at once (appearing in stack), and just change focus between them if object selection changes or if you edit values in a different mode (cmyk/rgb/grayscale etc). Thanks!

commentedCurrently, only one window of a kind can be open but there is benefit of allowing more. For example, I switch between RGB and HSB colours constantly when working. Being able to have two color windows at the same time, one set to RGB and the other HSB, would save thousands of clicks. I'm sure there are many more benefits to enabling this option.
