Inline Graphics / Anchor Object to text ability (like InDesign)
Please allow in-line graphics in text paragraphs, so graphics will move along with the rest of the copy within text. I am working on a lot of signage/wayfinding and the rooms keep getting moved about. Arro symbols and toilet icons have to be positioned manually and it is VERY time consuming. I wish the original artwork had been created in InDesign! Thanks
Please share some real cases for this feature you had in your practice, which could have benefit greatly from having inline graphics. It will help the team to plan it and make it more useful for Ai users, than analogues we have in InDesign and Figma.

Why ID (InDesign) can paste graphics onto a text path but Ai can't?
By copying the graphics and pasting them onto a text path, the graphic's SVG code would be pasted onto the path. Is there a way to work around this? -

It's been a year, Is this still under review? Like someone else mentioned this was available in Aldus Freehand.

Helo Egor. Please see attached screen grab from Amazon. The play instructions on this ticket include a symbol that if we had the ability to anchor objects inline with text the symbol would move with the text and not have to adjust manually. In this case both the star and upward facing triangle would benefit if other changes were made to the text.
This is one of many applications for this request. -

The fact that Illustrator hasn't been able to do this very rudimentary thing since v2 is mind-boggling, especially since I've been doing it in InDesign since the early '00s. Seriously, please add this feature!!!

Please add anchored graphic objects within text blocks like in InDesign.

I actually think Illustrator and InDesign should be combined into one program.

It is important when you want to create bullets with Glyphs you can simply insert the type tool next ot the sentence and make it part of the sentence (like in Design)

Ability to anchor an object within text in a text frame in Illustrator. In other words, when the text reflows, the object would move along with the text. There are forums on this already - but I don't see a request anywhere! I know this is available in indesign....but it's not in illustrator.
