Please support WebP, JPEG XL/XS, HEIC(HEIF), aPNG file formats (import and export)
Dear Illustrator team, pleas add support for thess file formats in Illustrator: WebP, JPEG XL, JPEG XS, HEIC(HEIF), aPNG

WebP export support is added in illustrator 27.6.
There is no information yet about exporting other formats requested. Meanwhile, we can import / place HEIC/HEIF, WebP and AVIF already.

With most current browsers now supporting WebP the ability to save WebP out of Illustrator (and ALL Creative Cloud applications) would be awesome!

WebP please! Saves a lot of space. Compatible with most browsers. https://caniuse.com/webp. With or without transparancy layer option. Best image format if you ask me.

Please add support for WebP! I need to save my graphics as WebP and it would be nice to do this in one step through Illustrator rather than using a 3rd party.. Thank you.

I have to convert almost any image I download off Chrome and now Edge from WebP to jpeg just so I can then image trace it.

We need WebP support! Our website is fully WebP/WebM optimized now. Please add these formats to the Adobe Suite for export purposes.

I also need Heic(Heif) format support in Illustrator.
It's so bother to convert Heic to another formats, for placing drafts of illustration taken with iPhone.--- Japanese Translate ---
