Everyone - we want some more information about this issue.
Is any export (PNG) done from Illustrator for any such (glitched preview) files showing the same thumbnail issue or not?
Or, is the issue happening only with the thumbnail of the file as seen in the Mac / Win folder preview or while placing into another application?

Hi everyone,
In the latest BETA 30.0.21, we’ve improved the ‘Save As’ workflow.
Now, instead of remembering the last used format, the default will always be .AI.
We made this change to ensure that your files are consistently saved in the native Illustrator format, which is the most reliable option for preserving full editability.
Please try out he changes by downloading the latest BETA from the Creative Cloud and let us know if it helps you or not.

While Ai now allows to get this disabled in Preferences > General, with the "Show 'Print Bleed' generative AI button on Bleed", I personally don’t think it’s a full solution (and won’t close the request).
I think Ai should allow to disable this right there, from this icon, and should not force us to hunt the option in the closet.
I also suggest upvoting this request —
An ability to disable Text to Vector Graphic feature and any other generative options

丸は、ドキュメントで設定されているルーラーの原点に表示されるようです。
左上であればあまり気になりませんが、原点がアートボード内にある場合は非常に煩わしく感じます。The brush tip ghost appears at the document’s ruler origin.
It’s not an issue if it’s in the upper-left corner, but it’s distracting when the origin is inside the artboard.hamko1114

Thanks for sorting out this confusing situation, Egor!
I’ve been using the Shape Builder Tool for years and didn’t know this option existed.
If “Pick Color From: Swatches” is the default, “Cursor Swatch Preview” should be on as well.
Alternatively, “Pick Color From: Artwork” could be the default—it’s easier for most people to predict the result.
Also, not being able to change the selected object’s color from panels like Color while using the Shape Builder Tool isn’t great. It’s confusing and should be improved.
