Please allow snapping Anchor Points to Artboard edges and Artboard corners.

It should be a basic behavior - lots of shapes need to end at the bounds of artboards.
Both InDesign and Photoshop have this feature. -

Do you mean to have this as a separate option we can disable? -

Please add /Snap to Artboard bounds (like Photoshop Snap to Document Bounds).
Or repair Smart Guides to prefer Artboard Bounds. It now avoids Artboard Bounds when switched on,
