Share for Review for Illustrator
Enable share for review with Illustrator. I can already see how this will help when working with clients for magazines in InDesign - so I can’t wait to see how I can use if with clients for Illustrator based projects.
ESPECIALLY as a professor - this will make it much easier to provide feedback for students during remote teaching and learning this fall with COVID.

It would be very helpful if Illustrator had a Review feature like the InDesign Review Feature - the way that InDesign uploads a pdf for com

This may be the wrong type of post but I'm looking for information/reassurance about Illustrator and Adobe as a whole and how there doesn't seem to be any consistency between apps.
Although it has a couple of bugs (overwriting links of duplicated documents), share for review in Indesign is very good, it works well and the way it works makes sense.
When my client gets the link, they can view it in vector (or high res), with the correct fonts, see all images (even if not embedded) and they can make comments that I can see in Indesign.
However, when it comes to Illustrator, it's an absolute mess. I have to resave my files in a separate specific format, save it in a specific location and then when you view it online its a terrible resolution, fonts drop out and you can't see images that aren't embedded. It really is terrible and makes no sense.
I presume that different development teams work on different software within Adobe but surly they must communicate? How can one team (InDesign) get it so right and another team (illustrator) be get it so wrong.
I know this post may sound like a rant but Adobe is absolutely ruining my workflow and causing confusion for my clients because they are getting different types of links that work differently and they are getting frustrated with me. It's really annoying (and should be unnecessary) to explain that different software, from the same company, has no consistency.
I suppose my question is, who can I actually speak to put a genuine "grievance/complaint" forward?
Many thanks -

The latest version of InDesign has one of the best features (new?) that I have come across in a very long time. I'm actually excited about it!
It is the share for review feature. This is a huge game-changer for in terms of controlling proofing and review.
I use Illustrator to create large format text panels, and this exact process would be amazing to have as well.
I am not aware of anything in Illustrator that allows this same type of collaboration. Perhaps it is there but I do not know of it?
With the move to more online PDF proofing, being able to do this directly from Illustrator and to have those changes show up in the Illustrator document that can then be resolved dynamically would be brilliant!

It's changed my world having the option to "share for review" via inDesign. Thank you for the feature. I would be very grateful if the same feature can be added to Illustrator, a perfect solution for branding approvals. Adding the feature to photoshop would be great too!
