Shape Eraser Tool
similar to eraser tool in clip studio paint vector layer, you just click to delete a shape / path / compound path, or sweep the tool to delete multiple adjacent shapes.
Currently I have to click and delete to trim these lines, which are expanded brush strokes, really time consuming process.2 votes -
stroke eye dropper dedicated tool with a simple (shift-alt) brush tool modifier.
In Illustrator when i am working with my drawing tablet , tracing an image, i wanted to quickly change the color of the brush stroke with an eye dropper to click on a background tracing image, then have the tool elegantly switch back to the brush with out having to click on the "tool menu" or the "swatch swapping foreground back ground" button. i became frustrated that this process felt clunky and un-intuitive in the current implementation.

Make drawing with a stylus easier!
Illustrator needs a tool to turn off finger-input from the touchscreen, so that it only takes the stylus. This way, artists can rest their had on the screen while drawing, without having to worry about their hand making mark on their project.

Clip Tray (built-in buffer manager)
It would be AWESOME if Illustrator had a clip tray feature. Instead of a basic copy/paste, if there were a way to pull up my last 5-10 copied items it would speed up some of my design process. I provide a lot of iterations of designs and this would save a lot of back and forth. Basically the same idea as the clip tray in your phone, but for the Adobe design suite. Even better it came with a keyboard shortcut that could pop up and automatically close the clip tray once you've selected.

Have the option to arc a shape or line to a specific degree.
Having the option to arc a line or shape to a specific degree would make so much easier. Especially when designing labels for containers that are tapered.

Please provide an option to disable the brush size preview circle
Please provide an option to disable the brush size preview circle (the little circle that appears under your cursor whether you are using the mini paintbrush or the precise (crosshairs) cursor.
I want to use illustrator for screen casting, and while most screen capture software can hide the cursor, they do not recognize the little circle as part of the cursor so it shows up in videos when you'd rather just have drawings appear.

Adobe Draw Mode in Adobe Illustrator
Description
Insert "Adobe Draw Mode" into Adobe Illustrator.
Bring into the Illustrator the same results and functions that the application of the Ipad has, such as presets of pressures and brushes that most of the time the result is ideal. Why is this valuable to you?
Because this will make vector illustrations with rewarding and much faster results.
To solve problems of paths with thicknesses and pressures as we need.

Press Shift (for proportion) turn Arrow
When Pressing Shift (for proportion drawings or scaling) turn Arrow or Current used tool to Red (now in InDesign and others it's White for Snap to Page edge).
In addition turn to other colors for other new thinkable functions (i.e Command + Shift = Green, etc) gives a user a reminder on screen to what he is using on keyboard. Could be the colour of the layer-color used or... I leave it to you guys :-)2 votes -
After Effects Style Point Manipulation in Illustrator
In After Effects you can select points within a path, double click, then transform just those points (around a movable centre of axis).
Very quick and useful tool.
I don't understand why Illustrator can't do this.

Artistic Corner Options
I had to make a customized corner style for a project that needed to match its existing vintage look and realized how limited the options were. I had to paste the shape into indesign and even then I still needed to modify them after I converted it back to Ai in order to match the desired look.
I know with nowadays minimalism we rarely make complicated borders and corners anymore but I still don't get it why we have millions of fancy brushes for stroke but non for corner....I hope there'll be an update with better options for this…

Rename 'Group Selection Tool' to Path Selection Tool
Confusing name - the Group Selection tool, ignores groups - it selects a path, even when part of a group.
Should be name 'Path Selection Tool'2 votes -
Add back ability to scale objects using up and down arrows in Illustrator 22.1
Add back ability to scale objects using up and down arrows in Illustrator 22.1
You used to be able to select an object and change it's size by clicking up and down arrows (when rulers was on). Now that feature is gone, and you can't do it with Transform either. I only see the ability to manually enter numbers.

Transfor Each: tranformation origin
In the Transform Each dialog, particularly when selecting a corner of the selection as the origin, the appearance of the objects is taken into account, i.e. if you have strokes on the objects, they will be included in the selection "bounding box", and thus change the origin of transformation accordingly. While this could be the expected behavior, it really should be optional, that is, the orign of the transformation should also possibly be based on the vectors themselves, and not their appearance.
All in all, Transform Each is powerful and very useful, but very much under-designed. There are already other…

Guidelines for artboards and transformation options
You should be able to have a ruler for every artboard you work on (with an option to turn it on or off).
Also, artboard should have their own guidelines, that does not extend beyond bleeding area of the artboard. These guidelines should copy automatic to the new artboard when you copy the artboard with Option-Drag.
Also, when selectable, the Guideline should have the transform options in transform panel (a rotation and size would be an excellent option)2 votes -
Change default point type (corner or smooth) when using Join tool
When joining two open paths using the Join tool, the point created at their intersection will always be smooth, even if the two paths previously ended in corners (such as in the diagram). I would like to please request that the Join tool give the user the option to choose what kind of point (corner or smooth) it will create.
In the same vein, may I request that an option to remove previous points be added? (indicated by red arrows on diagram attached)
Finally, when trying to convert that new point to a corner, one must first explicitly change it…

"Sowing"
So the name is called "Sowing" for the reason as shown in the picture. The object doesn't necessarily have to have so many "cuts."
The idea is to make "slices" within a single object, which allows a stroke or other object to over- and underlap an object in a single layer, without having to make extra layers to hide the "threading" object. This will prevent having to cut up, or mask or duplicate objects.
Basically it's also allowing anchors of the same object to switch between layers.

Inverse
Please add Select> Inverse for nodes on the path. Eg in isolation mode.
This sometimes speeds up the time
