  2. Make Object-Path menu a part of Right-Click menu

    Or at least a full part of the Properties palette. It would be a much faster workflow when adding/removing anchor points. Most of those menu items are used often enough to warrant an R-Click placement.

  3. Start drawing (onPenDown) Event option like Photoshop.

    Having an option of drawing with the brush, pencil or blob tool on a (PenDown) Event, like in photoshop. Currently a dot or line, only appears on a penUp or penMove. thus it seems like there is a delay when drawing small shading or detailing lines quickly.
    Any delay for artists can be annoying.

    It would great if Ai had that normal event of traditional drawing on paper. mouseUp and mouseMove is ok for a mouse, but a penDown is needed - i think.

    If there is such an option, let me know. I cant seem to find it, or…

  4. Circle-tool — subdivision functionality with arrow keys

    As the "Effect > Stylize > Round Edges..." is a little bit flawed if working with short sections and third-party-scripts often show the same problem that short sections rounded often are not a circular section but some weird hyberbole of sorts I often use Circles and subdivisions of those as a stand-in if I need a round corner with a fixed radius. Up to now i have to manually draw a line from the center, rotate it by the angle I want and subdivide it with the knife.

  5. An option for the pen tool to behave like Photoshop

    As a Photoshop user most of the time, I would find it would be much easier to have bezier curve anchors not delete themselves when closing a path or reselecting a path. It would also be great if nudging points with the arrow keys would not interrupt and unselect the current path.

    Some preference to toggle these behaviors would be fantastic!

  6. Find circle from a given arc

    A tool that, when clicking on a previously created arc, would calculate and give the circle whose circumference that arc is part of; this would enable easier amendments, recreation etc. Can sometimes be done by trial and error, but not always accurately, particularly with 'shallow' arcs for which the circle can be surprising large - difficult to know buy just increasing size, moving centre, repeating etc.

  8. Frescoの「連続する範囲内を塗り」を追加して欲しい。

    ライブペイントではなく、塗りブラシのまま直感的に必要な範囲だけ塗りたい。

    これが出来ない＆やりづらい為に他社のツールを利用せざる負えないケースが増えた。

  9. Rotation of Subset of Shape Anchor Points via Direct Select

    Once you select multiple anchors on a path (but not all of them) you should be able to rotate only those anchors. Currently it's possible to move the anchors but not rotate them.
    Ex: You have a path creating a shape of a full body silhouette of a person with the face in profile. The face is looking straight left. You want to adjust the face to be looking more upward. Select the anchors that make up the head then new feature rotate those anchors so the head is tilted upward. Bonus Once you're in the rotate interface, have the…

  10. Disable geometry size limit for corner widgets

    It seems like there is a hard limit on the object size for corner widgets.
    Take a look at the GIF:
    when my shape is 1.42 px tall — I can see the widgets,
    but if I make it 1.41 px — widgets vanish... and it doesn’t matter if I zoom in, they won’t appear!
    It makes it very inconvenient when designing pixel art, icons, small things... This should be screen-based, not geometry-capped!

    Hello Adobe -
    I'm interested in becoming one of your Beta testers for this new tool I am hearing about regarding Adobe Max.
    What's shown is a way to take a 2D drawings and converting it in Adobe Illustrator a turn around version from the 2D to 3D art.

  13. Shortcut with Cmd to select a tool

    Shortcuts with Cmd keys

    Please please make it possible to use the Cmd key to make shortcut to select a tool. This is crucial for working quick and efficiently. I know about the V and the A for choosing Selection and Direct Selection Tool, but when you are working with text, you cannot use these. Then you have to go the long way up to the tools panel to choose these. This make you work really slow.

    In Indesign it is easy to make this shortcut. In Photoshop and Illustrator it is prohibited. Please make this small adjustment to Illustrator…

  14. Allow Join Tool to join selected open diverging paths with a straight connection

    The Join Tool isn't working as it should. It trims extra paths but it doesn't join the anchor points.

  16. Explode Command

    There's a command in Autodesk 3ds max called "explode", it will ungroup a group of elements and all sub-groups under it, so if there's a group that includes multiple levels of sub-groups, they will all explode to individual elements or objects, would love to see that in Illustrator and Photoshop

  19. 复合路径建立的剪切蒙版

    复合路径建立的剪切蒙版，如何把蒙版分割的对象分离成单独的对象。如图中，我用矩形复合路径通过剪切蒙版把图片分割，但是现在是一个整体，我想让蒙版中分割的每个对象成为一个单独的对象，请问有什么好办法吗？比如类似于“扩展”的功能。
    当然，每个矩形可以单独建立剪切蒙版，但是会非常麻烦。

  20. Graph to vector

    I'm requesting a feature I'm calling Graph to Vector. The idea would be to use the data in a graph and use the AI capabilities to generate a vector based on that data.

    For instance, if you had a graph representing how you spent your budget this past year with 5 different categories divided by percentages, you could take the colors used to represent the percentages and make a vector with those same colors in those same percentages. If 20% of the budget was represented by blue, then 20% of the vector could be blue.
