My tools keep moving around! This is completely inconvenient. There must be a simple "lock" solution...

Please fix this it's driving me mad!!! I've re-set it 3 times in the space of 2 minutes!!!!!

The ability of removing unused tools from the tool bar is a neat idea however I have reset the bar three times already. I'm not sure what I am doing that combines the selection tools but I decided to lock the tools in place only to discover that's not an option.

Come on now guys, if any significant changes are made to a program, the option to revert to a legacy mode or deactivate/hide the update should always be included. So, how about adding a lock button right below the reset button?

When driving a car you change gear automatically. When using illustrator you pick up tools automatically, until some idiot makes them shuffle around. Try driving a car where the brake and accelerator switch places. Please stop the tools moving around in the toolbox.

Hate this new toolbar feature. Please find a way to lock it. This will fix the problem. I have been working with illustrator for 20 years. This is the most annoying feature ever, and I'm not mentioning every other nick and nack that came to this software throughout the years.

not only did they keep moving...some actually disappeared and the only way to get it is with the keyboard.
so you need to the corresponding letters!!!! So frustrating...

Why not just make the tool bar the length of the screen with more tools rather than making it move around like a cheap magic trick?

Who ever invented this non locking toolbar needs to be banned from ever using any adobe products for life as punishment. This is the worst thing I've ever dealt with. FIX IT NOW> LOCK THE TOOLBAR!!!!!!!!!

It's great to be able to move the toolbar buttons around. It's awful whenever they poltergeist around on their own. I hate having to reset the tools every 20 minutes or clicking on the wrong button.

Let us lock the toolbar buttons or, better yet, let us include our toolbar settings in our custom Workspaces (if you don't already).

I'm so happy to find out I'm not alone and not doing anything wrong. I mean, why would anyone think it a good idea to move the tools and hide them wherever all the time for no apparent reason at all?!? I really hope Adobe will fix it soon. Sooo annoying!

Please the toolbar is driving me insane. It is a user impediment. If I have to think about the program I am not thinking about my work.
