Paste Remembers Layers: Keyboard Shortcut and Visual Indicator
I would like to see a toggle option for "Paste Remembers Layers" I switch frequently between having it on and off and it would be nice to have a visual cue - and toggle button - to facilitate easier working between modes.

Egor, they are similar indeed. Correct me if I am wrong, but a toggle and visual cue does not automatically imply the possibility to assign it a shortcut key.

Will, do you want to have it in the top menu for an ability to assign a hotkey ONLY? or are there other purposes? Because otherwise it should be merged with that one.

Move Paste Remember Layers under the Edit menu below other paste options so a shortcut key can be assigned.

Giving this a kick as its something I do multiple times a day and it would just make my life a bit easier if I had a single shortcut with some sort of indication on the layers panel.
I know I can do it with actions but I have no indication and I need two seperate actions/shortcuts

It would save a lot of time and hassle from either keeping on having to click the menu to see whether it's on, or forgetting when pasting and then having to re-allocate things to layers later on

I would love a keyboard shortcut and visual indicator for "Paste Remembers Layers". I do a lot of packaging production and I am constantly turning this feature on and off because I am copying elements from one document to another but the files I am copying from are not always set up correctly... so I need that feature to be off sometimes. I just spend alot of times going back and forth... and I can't be the only one.

That would prevent many time-consuming mistakes when it was switched off and a multi-language version gets messed up accidentally.
