Select Objects in Layer selects locked objects
Objects that are locked within a layer get selected when selecting everything in a layer. Instead of selecting everything in the layer except the locked items.

That bug is still exist. And it's mega critical for packaging design and prepress! -

As of version 27.9, this is worse. Now, locking an object within a group serves no purpose. I can now select and manipulate the entire group, regardless of any locked objects within it.

Same thing happens to me

In Version 26.0.3, this is very annoying. There is no visual clue that locked nested layers are selected, until you manipulate them. They should not be selected in the first place! There are too many bugs in the latest releases!

This is happening with text, and a basic rectangle also. The object should be locked and/or not visible, yet when the layer is selected, all objects including the locked and hidden objects become selected and move when they should not.

doesn't have to be a compound path - it happens with a simple square, too.

Amazing, you are right. The object have to be compound path though, just checked.
