ガイド線が消せない。選択できない。
いくつかのファイルで、ガイド線を引いた後、選択もできず、消すこともできない状態に陥ります。ガイド線を一括非表示にした時に限り表示を一時的に消すことができます。印刷入稿などへ回しても現物に影響はないので良しとしていますが、作業にあたりとても邪魔で困っています。

windows10 64bit1 voteGuides in Illustrator, unlike in InDesign, are considered to be objects and exist within layers. As per the comment by Ten_A, if your guides are contained within a locked layer, they won’t be selectable.

Hi Adobe people,
I have a question about the communication with users. Under what circumstances does it make sense at all to post a comment/bug/idea/etc. in this place. Do users get heard? Is there a limit of votes above which ideas are actually implemented? How are decisions about what is fixed and what not made?

Incorrect file extension when exporting to *.png
Hello! When I try to export an illustration to *.png, the file generated ends up with a *.dwg extension. If I rename the *.dwg-file to *.png and open it it's still a valid *.png file.
The export is done using File->Export->Export As... Select *.png as file type, type a filename (with no dot in it), press Export. Select Resolution 150ppi, press ok. A *.dwg file is now created at the selected path

Typos in menu
Typos in the Layers' hamburger menu "grpahics" instead of "graphics"

Option + Enter (on keypad) doesn't work anymore to produce a copy

When using dialogue boxes for scale, rotate move etc, after inputting numbers i used to be able to hit option + enter (next to the keypad) and it would create a copy of whatever I element i was scaling, rotating, moving. This doesn't work anymore. nothing happens. I have to hit option + return for this to work. It used to work a few versions ago. Some of AI file paths disappear when exporting to PNG or JPG
A simple AI file containing the logo and text (all outlined) is saved fine as AI or PDF, but if I try to export it to PNG or JPG, some of the paths contained within the image disappear and are not rendered in the resulting raster file. I am attaching the master AI file, and the rendered PNG file (created by going to File > Export As > PNG). What video formats can we upload to bug requests?
I used to be able to upload videos to the bug reports but now no matter what format I seem to choose, I get a note that the format cannot upload. Furthermore, the bug report gets posted anyway without notice so if I try to upload a different format the post is double posted.
Can you please tell us what types of formats are allowed?

This portal allows attachments up to 50 mb and you can use any format for it. Is it possible there is a software or an browser extention that is troubling you. Can you please try this bug form from another browser or computer. -
No icon - can't recognise file type.
Latest build Windows 10 with Ai 23.0.1 can't recognise the file and keeps asking what to open with. Additionally the icon is missing on all ai. files.
1 votePlease reinstall Illustrator. The functionality that you are referencing comes from the Windows operating system and re-associating file types using the Windows operating system should solve the issue.

No de-selection of gradient Point / Appearance panel behaviour in AI23
If I edited a gradient point once, the selected point stays selected forever. I is possible for me to select another gradient point, but not de-select the point.
Why would this be necessary?
Because, when I edit some stacked layers of gradients in the appearance panel (what I do very often), the editing of the gradient hides the complete appearance, showing only the highlighted color swatch of the gradient point in the appearance panel.

You can deselect the selected color stop via Escape key when you are in gradient tool. I hope this works for you as a workaround to deselect the selected color stop. -

1 voteIllustrator provides two tool panels now: Basic (chosen by default) and Advanced (with all the tools, including plugin ones). This change was made to make Illustrator less clumped form the beginning and ease the learning process. You can read more about this here: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/tools.html
You can also access all the tools from the 'drawer' menu, by clicking the button with three dots at the bottom of any toolbar.
As always, Ai doesn’t care much about our settings, and this time they forced this changes for everyone, not explaining the change directly in-app. Hope this gets improved.

Viewing files when placing an image
For a short time recently when I choose File>place and navigate to my stock image folder, the most recently downloaded file appeared first. SUPER TIME SAVER (Using Windows 10). Now it seems this feature is gone and I have to sift through hundreds of files once again. I can set file explorer to sort by "date created" ie. date created ON MY COMPUTER, but I can't replicate this viewing option any more through Illustrator's place option. Any ideas?
1 voteunfortunately the feature that you are referencing is provided by Windows operating system. We use the Windows system fie open dialog to enable file place on your artboard.
Please click on sort by date created this should resolve your problem. -
