Missing Buttons/Interface in Find Font
I've recently noticed that the buttons in Find Font do not appear unless I scroll over them. This is a very recent occurrence as far as I can tell.

Restart every 1 min to fix a bug – Illustrator Font Panel Bug
Adobe Illustrator always show the default font Myriad Pro no matter which typeface/font you are using. Also Fonts and weights that you are using disappear from the dropdown of the font.
The only way of fixing it is to restart illustrator every 1 min.

Font Suggestion/Preview Font NOT Working on MAC's
I select a text box on my art board and go to the character palette to change the font. I was able to use the arrow keys up and down and see the font change on the art board. This feature no longer works with CC2018 Mac.
Or I was able to start typing a font name into the Character Palette and suggestions would pop up. This feature no longer works with CC2018 Mac.
I find this very irritating and a difficult way to work. This only happens on my MAC, my PC still works.
Can anyone help me with…

Freeze screen
Sometimes the text boxes freeze and seem like I can't edit but actually are editable, is just I can't see exactly what I am doing.
The other thing, and is a major issue, is that the outline mode is not visible, apparently, I can activate it but there nothing changes on my screen besides the option that shows that the mode is active.2 votesPlease accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Type on path issue
Illustrator 22.0.1 (64-bit)
When I move the beginning or ending tabs of the path after placing the text such as to center the text on a oval, once I move one or the other of the starting or ending placings, the lines to move them disappear. I am attaching a before and after picture to show you2 votes -
most fonts not rendering
I have to continually uninstall and reinstall 75% of my fonts! They show up in the panel, but do not render when selected. This is way beyond aggravating and is taking up hours of my time daily.
These are fonts on my hard drive, not typekit or any other font service. using Windows 10 and Illustrator CC 2018 (happened intermittently with 2017, now it's everytime I open Illustrator or let it sit open for more than a few hours)2 votesClosing the ticket since didn’t hear back from customer.

Delay of text cursor
- Illustrator 22.0.0 (64-bit).
- There is a delay in the text cursor showing up when it's moved with arrows or a text path is newly clicked, requiring one to wait for it before being able to continue working.
- The text cursor should be immediately visible.
- There is a delay instead of a couple seconds. (That's a long time when making many moves in a row.)

Illustrator Font problem :((
A client's custom font that shows up InDesign and Photoshop is not showing up in Illustrator?!?!?!?!? What is the problem??? And how can I fix this?????
I have Font Book and have never had a problem, now I am trying to reload, restart, test, etc to get the font to show up with no luck.
Any ideas?

After I type text, I can't correct a word. When I click on it it will select a new text box above it. I can only delete the entire text.
After typing a word/paragraph, I can not delete any part of the word except I can select it and delete the entire word/text box. I just got illustrator a couple of months ago and I have always had a problem with it, but now it doesn't work at all. Help!

Morisawa Fontsの和文バリアブルフォントDriveFluxが使えない
いつのバージョンからかMorisawa Fontsの和文バリアブルフォントDriveFluxが急に使えなくなりました。macOS 15.6、Illustrator 2024 29.7.1を使用しています。2024の最初の方は使えてたんですが、どこかのマイナーバージョンアップで急に表示されなくなってしまいました。2025でも使えません。モリサワに相談したところ「こちらではどうしようもないのでAdobeさんに相談してください」とのことでした。ちなみにMonotypeの和文バリアブルフォントは問題ありません。ご対応お願いします。

29.7.1アップデートにおけるテキスト入力について
半角入力では問題なく行えますが、日本語の入力時にリアルタイムで反映されず、画面左上で文字が表示され、Enterを押すと入力されるという仕様になっていました。（添付画像参照）
また、以前のバージョンではAlt + 右 / 左向き矢印キーでカーニングできていましたが、出来なくなりました。

禁則処理が反映されない、トラッキングの数値が変わる
macOS Mojave バージョン10.14.6
CC2020 バージョン24.1で起きたバグです。・テキストボックスを使用して文字組みの作業をしていました。
・保存後に再度開くと文字送り位置が勝手に変わっている現象が発生。
」←閉じ括弧が行頭に来ていたました。
・禁則処理は「強い禁則」に設定していた＆行頭禁則文字に同記号を設定していたのに適用されませんでした。
・トラッキングを-5→0に設定して文字送りを調整して保存しましたが、再度開くとまたトラッキングは-5に戻り」←閉じ括弧が行頭にある状態に。
・トラッキングを今度は5〜10にして文字送りを調整し保存。再度開いたら正しい状態で保存されていました。以上ご報告になります。

ご報告いただいた「DNP 秀英角ゴシック金 Std」フォントがアクティベートされないという現象は、Illustrator の文字パネルでのアクティベート操作では再現しませんでした。
ご使用の Illustrator と Creative Cloud デスクトップアプリケーションが最新版でも問題が発生する場合は、お手数ですが、カスタマーサポートにお問い合わせください。

Tilde shows up in text box
Illustrator CC 23.0.3 Precision 5820 Tower,Intel Xeon W2102
16 GB RAM, 64 bit, Win 10 ProWorking with any text box, the tilde character shows up at insertion point. Even if no typing is happening.

Asks me to login to Creative Cloud when I try to "Find Fonts"
When I try to search for non-native fonts that I've downloaded after opening a file from a non-Adobe cloud program, it says I need to go to "Help" and log in to Creative CLoud. When I go to "Help", it says I'm already signed in. Restarting the program and trying again does not fix the problem.

can't copy text of typeface name from character panel
selecting a typeface's name in the character panel and copying it gives you "Myriad Pro" when pasting.
This is not a consistent bug. Sometimes when trying to re-create it actually pastes the test of the right typeface you are trying to copy.

Live font preview panel isn´t working

I think that this is a old bug, but I already update AI to the latest version (CC 22.1) and the problema remains… This is really frustrated. Can you please, help?

Major Type issues
Having major dramas with type. I cannot select any existing type in any file. I cannot add any type either. On the rare occasion that any cursor may appear, it is so tiny as to be impossible to see anything. On typing, no text appears at all.

All Typekit fonts unavailable
All of a sudden Typekit stopped working through Illustrator/Photoshop. I cannot open the CC app on my desktop either. I cannot uninstall it nor reinstall it as none of these functions will work. I am effectively frozen out of my desktop CC app and typekit. When I access Typekit via the webpage it shows my snyced fonts but I cannot access them on my desktop (PC).
