Adjusting gradient on ONE selection adjusts ALL other objects with the same gradient
When I select ONE object with an existing gradient and then try to adjust it, it will change ALL objects that have that same gradient. Extremely frustrating.

Freeform gradient becomes uneditable
Once applied, a freeform gradient is no longer editable. Ex. If I apply to a circle, and click off to work on something else, then come back to the circle, I can't edit it again. The circles don't appear, and I am hitting "Edit Gradient". Maybe Windows bug? When I watch tutorials on this, only need to select object and open freeform gradient tool to be able to edit gradients again.

Adjustments in gradient slider not applying to grouped objects
When adjusting the gradient slider for a group of objects, only some of the objects are affected by the slider. The rest of the objects don't change. Applies to both linear and radial gradients, but problem more frequent for radial.
(In screenshot, the lower-right corner shows how some of the objects follow the gradient slider adjustment, but the rest of the objects in the group don't change. Using macOS High Sierra and Illustrator CC v23.0.1.)2 votesPlease get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Gradient stroke with spot colors separations error
Using spot colors in a gradient stroke has problems on a close path. When viewing separations, white gaps appear between some spot colors.

Gradient locks to a color stop in the color tab
Gradient locks to a color stop in the color tab. If I want to use a solid fill, on the color tab it only allows me to change the color stop. I cannot do anything to escape out of the gradient stop. I have to remove the gradient first then choose a color. Older versions allowed me to just click on the color fill box and I can toggle between gradient stop and object fill.

linear gradients switching to radial gradients unexpectedly
Illustrator CC 2019 (both Mac and Win platforms) I teach at the college level. Numerous students have reported that they will create a linear gradient on a shape. When they continue editing other areas and return to that shape, the gradient has changed to radial. The linear gradient shape was not selected and they were not editing a gradient swatch. I cannot replicate this error. Any thoughts?
