Snap to grid isn’t working
It’s difficult to precisely place anything. When snap to grid is on, I don’t understand what my points are snapping to, because I can’t get it to align with the grid I’ve set up in the settings. When turning off all snapping to grid features, I still cannot freely place anything and my objects are still snapping to something.

While drawing a rectangle, the lines are not snapping to the lines of the grid. Snap to grid and smart guides are selected… help?

Yeah this is absolutely ridiculous, this is the only thing people use illustrator for and it simply does nothing, and it has done nothing since I have owned my iPad. So basically I cannot use illustrator. Because why would I want to make uneven ****. Seriously this is mind numbingly stupid and can’t comprehend why more people are not mad about this. Who on earth is even using illustrator without snap to grid. Oh yeah literally no one. Because it’s useless without it. I program designed to be used with vectors and it fails to do the simplest things, and people pay how much for this???? Every single month wow just wow. Adobe act like they make the dogs bollocks of softwares when my entire life all I have experienced with them is just trash. And this is a prime example, they take are not an intelligent company they’re just there for your money and they make trash. Come back to me when they have a functioning snap to grid ffs and maybe I will listen

When the above options are turned on, they seem to have no effect and objects are placed without snapping.
