Issue with Arabic Language Support in Adobe Illustrator for iPad
To the Adobe Technical Support Team,
Greetings,
I am writing to you today to report a fundamental issue I am facing while using Adobe Illustrator on the iPad, which pertains to the lack of proper support for typing in the Arabic language.
When attempting to enter any Arabic text, the letters appear disconnected and separate, and in a Left-to-Right (LTR) format instead of the correct Right-to-Left (RTL) direction. This makes it completely impossible to create any design containing proper Arabic text, which significantly limits the application's usefulness for Arabic-speaking designers.
As a user of your products, I find this shortcoming extremely frustrating, especially since full Arabic support is available in the desktop version of the software. The absence of this essential feature in the iPad version forces me to look for workarounds or return to my computer to accomplish even the simplest text-related tasks.
Therefore, I urge you to consider this issue seriously and work on adding full support for the Arabic language (including correct text direction and letter joining) in future updates for the Illustrator iPad app. Adding this feature would be a significant step in serving a large segment of users and designers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and around the world.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to seeing this improvement as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
