Need to have better exporting capability. On the desktop version you can enter the specific resolution of the exported item on a keypad. This needs to be implemented on the iPad version. For both JPEG and PNG,

Deal with markup directly Add a feature which enables the user to directly input SVG markup into the application, instead of having to import an SVG file all the time. Will save a lot of time for those who make SVGs by hand like me.
Also, I would like it if I can just switch from graphical editing to markup editing seamlessly within the app. It would help with developing SVGs a lot.2 votes -
Create seemless interoperability between .ai and .aic Currently .ai files opened on the ipad have their layer structure and object structure modified much like when you open files with older versions of a software. The objects are defined by bounding boxes and clipping masks.

Importing images/files from Google Drive Not sure if it’s been suggested already or if it’s even possible but importing images/files directly from Google Drive would be quite convenient.

Export to .jpg I couldn’t find an export to jpg option, It’s a very common format I was surprised it wasn’t included.
In addition to that a slices option would be great.
157 votesExport to JPEG was already there in 1.0.
In the latest update more controls for export formats have been added.

.AIC compatibility with InDesign I don’t see a way to place .aic files which I’ve manipulated on iPad into an InDesign document. Is the format not supported or is this an issue of file handling? As a separate note, the file organization isn’t very intuitive for Illustrator cloud documents and the slow refresh can often hide files completely.

How to change ppi? When creating a new document I can’t figure out how to change ppi. Once in a document I can see in “info” that my ppi is 72, but again, can’t see a way to change it

5 votes -
Option to export using dpi instead of ppi Older versions of Illustrator used to have the option to export using dpi instead of ppi, when working with printing presses we need this option to be able to get good quality output without having to make images large by having to use 1200ppi to get best quality

Could you make the option to set it as a past version? I use illustrator (desktop) to make a file for laser engraving machine or cnc.
And that machines only read illustrator version 8.
I usually use desktop to do this but sometimes I can’t access to desktop so I wish I can use that function with my ipad.1 vote -

Manual sync with CC Syncing saved files over from Illustrator Desktop to Illustrator for iPad takes forever (hours, or sometimes even days) while the app says no sync errors. It'd be great to be able to manually sync with CC!

Merci 🙏

Import AI files directly from desktop version to IpadOS version I want to work on the same AI file that I made on the desktop Adobe Illustrator on my IPAD. Currently, there is no cross-compatibility and I cannot import my .AI files. If there is, the compatibilty needs to be more noticable and import needs to be easier.
