How to change ppi?
When creating a new document I can’t figure out how to change ppi. Once in a document I can see in “info” that my ppi is 72, but again, can’t see a way to change it

It is a vector program, it has no connection to image resolution.

Currently it’s permanently set at 72 ppi

On the earlier version of the beta releases there was the option of creating artwork at 300 PPI. See attached image.
Please bring this setting back, the 72 ppi automatic setting is not enough when working with large size artwork.

It’s always at 72 and it’s too low.

This is the thing. I ONLY use the iPad app. Haven’t needed a desktop ever. So all my work is done on an iPad. Everything.
I know that might sound crazy. But it is absolutely the truth.
I hadn’t used illustrator in years, as I’ve been patiently waiting, but that allowed me to develop my skills in other apps, etc.
This fix is definitely needed for people like me and in the long run it will benefit everyone as we go more mobile.
I have two iPad pros with cellular and my life is the easiest. Haven’t had a laptop or a desktop since 2010

As a work around you can open your file in the desktop illustrator, check your document’s settings there, adjust and even just export from there after you adjust your settings

Be able to change the dpi above 72dpi either during export or when creating the document

A toggle with resolution options for export and preview options that include PNG without background.

The only fix I’ve found for this is to import it into procreate, make sure my ppi is 300, and enlarge it there. A pain but it seems to work

The app is useless without being able to export high quality

This has also been driving me nuts. Every time I export something it’s totally blurry, regardless of the size. Wondering if there’s a way to change it and I’m just not seeing it?

Cant seem to find the section to increase the PPI when exporting as a PNG.
Would love to be able to increase this to send to print via the ipad (and not having to export my image to my desktop) -

First of all, thank you very much for the iPad version, where I can get my work done and don‘t have to switch the program to vectorize my document.
Nevertheless there are definitely several things to improve.
I would love to have the possibility to rotate the canvas. Makes everything so much easier.
Furthermore I can’t figure out how to change or set the ppi. It always stays 72ppi.
Next issue: snapping the stroke with the pencil tool only works for two strokes in total. If you want to complete a complicated shape and use several strokes to finish, you don’t end up with a snapped whole figure.
Another point: The min. Thickness of the stroke stays always 1 pt. I have to set it every time to 0.25 pt because it doesn’t saves automatically. Bothers while creating small details.
Also the modifier selection tool is to improve. It sometimes crashes.
Thank you and looking forward to your updates. -

I could not find anywhere to change the raster size. It has a set size of 300ppi. Would like to be able to change this like on desktop.
