Remove Bleed Icon from Artboard
A red "Print Bleed" icon appears in the upper right of a document when bleed is applied. The icon doesn't provide any function other than show a message that it's a bleed. We need a way to turn this off.

The team acknowledges the problem and is working to provide a quick fix with an option to disable this in the Preferences.

I've had to roll back my version of illustrator to the previous because it kept bugging out*, and I'm so glad I did, since that dumb icon is nowhere to be seen.
*Objects in my artwork would suddenly become invisible when zooming and cut & pasting would not restore them. This has to be the worst update in recent memory.

Remove the **** icon - it's in the way. And/or create a "Nanny State Mode for GenZ Dipshits" and a "OG User" settings. In the OG settings, it gets rid of all the new ******** they try to put in the way.

Adobe just constantly wants to alienate the core-user base on all of their products it seems by adding these annoying work-flow-interrupting features.

Temporary workaround: I created a new layer called "enshittification" with just one object: a rectangle that bleeds off every edge. Set fill and stroke to none, lock the object, lock the layer, carry on. You have to keep the layer visible for it to work.

Hello everyone, my name is Sanjit and I am from the Adobe product team. We are working to provide an option to disable this in the preferences and are looking for a quick release on this one.

There's no need to use generative ai for bleeds

一時的にブリードをゼロにする方法以外では,オブジェクトまたはレイヤーをロックすることでもアイコンを非表示にすることができるようです。

I hate this. It is a distraction to my workflow.

I literally just want a guide for bleeds. I don't need AI to add bleeds in illustrator.
Charging people just to use a feature in a program we already pay for is beyond stupid. -

For all of you guys suffering from the issue, set the bleeds to zero temporarily until Adobe provides the fix.

ADOBE ARE YOU KIDDING? I can't do my job as this ***** widget disallows me to select any tool after it appeared

This is terrible. Add hide print bleed icon to the settings ASAP!

I do not have any intention of using the generative credits feature and wish to remove it. Failing that, I would like the option to hide the icon as I find it distracting and distasteful.

This is an annoyance to actual designers. An off-switch is critical.

En la mesa de trabajo si hay un conjunto de vectores se pone el icono de IA, deberia de poder deshabilitarse esta función, tambien el color celeste de la selección de la mesa de trabajo

The icon is always visible even if the feature itself is really situational - you don't awlays need to use GenAI to feel the bleed, but for some reason you always see this big icon, which also scales up and is visibly red - which adds so much more to distraction as well as is very easy to click on by a mistake - and you have to wait until it generates a bleed so you cannot skip it if you made a mistake.
Feature itself is a nice addition but it should be available on the top toolbar or this genAI toolbar you can hide or something, not on the main workspace - if it has to stay there there should be an option to turn that off.

Completely agree. Although it may be a useful additional new there really should be an option to turn this, and all the annoying new messages constantly explaining how to use very basic features, off. I can't believe that this hasn't been pointed out by professional users during beta testing.

I completely agree. Features that affect usability like this should not be implemented without first providing an option to disable them via Preferences or the View menu. Users of the general release version use Illustrator for professional work — they are not beta testers.
