The team acknowledges the problem and is working to provide a quick fix with an option to disable this in the Preferences.
An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment I do not have any intention of using the generative credits feature and wish to remove it. Failing that, I would like the option to hide the icon as I find it distracting and distasteful.

An error occurred while saving the comment It would be incredibly convenient if there were a checkbox for converting text to outlines when exporting to PDF, especially when making print ready files.
It would speed up the process by eliminating the need to do this step through preflight or by manually converting the text within the working file, also reducing the risk of accidentally saving the working file with flattened text, which would then impact the ability to later make amendments.
I've had to roll back my version of illustrator to the previous because it kept bugging out*, and I'm so glad I did, since that dumb icon is nowhere to be seen.
*Objects in my artwork would suddenly become invisible when zooming and cut & pasting would not restore them. This has to be the worst update in recent memory.
