An error occurred while saving the comment I see the frustration... I had to design a custom script in Autohotkey (Windows only) that goes into Preferences and toggles all the units. Macs have other means to set this up, AFAIK.
However, I doubt a fully automated solution could ever be a thing within Ai from the box. I just don’t see a clear error-prone way to set this up... but if this one ever gets done, Ai should drop a 'shy message' saying this got changed, allow to revert back, and give a link directly in the message we can click to alter this automated behavior.Plus there is this related request:

Make units and grid settings to be bound to file

I had to setup a custom solution that goes into Preferences and swaps these for me when I a hit a hotkey... Really with that this value would be local and not global. Same goes for the Stroke and Type units, because I use different ones depending on the media.

An error occurred while saving the comment Kristen, were you able to figure out a way to edit many corner radii at once?
Fields to edit these are available at least in Control and Transform panels. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Hmm... Tab is one of those keys in Illustrator that is hardcoded and can’t be changed. It hides UI and that’s it.
However, the idea is sane. There are several script that can help you editing several text filed at ones. One of them is Multi-edit Text — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcyT0KmuepI
Other ones are Batch Text Edit (Batch Text Edit) and Edit Texts by Dialog (https://3fl.jp/is001/).
They do not allow using exactly Tab to edit fields, but still are good. -

An error occurred while saving the comment I wonder if MacOS even allow to change the title... perhaps it has to stay like this for security reasons.
On Windows in full screen mode we don’t get a top bar at all, it’s truly full...

An error occurred while saving the comment Jerry, Ai has a method to align to a key object, defined with a click into one of the selected objects. Its edge becomes thick, and Ai than aligns every other object in the selection to this one.
Does it work for you? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Arian, does it behave the same each time you try to export the images from this document?
If so — please send all of these, including the original file and the resulting SVGs over to sharewithai@adobe.com

Ben, Adobe recently introduced Project Neo, a dedicated SDF-based 3D editor that allows similar workflow.
