I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.3.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

The problem got solved by resaving the original document and no longer can be reproduced.

An error occurred while saving the comment Janet Haw commentedHi Egor,
Unfortunately after I was able to open up the icloud version and resave it, I no longer have it at that location. There wasn't any differences in the files, and I don't work in layers. If it's okay with you, I'll see if/when it happens again and get back to you?
Thanks so much for your help.
An error occurred while saving the comment Janet Haw commentedHi Egor. There weren't any locked layers in the file. Thanks, Janet
An error occurred while saving the comment Janet Haw commentedHi Egor,
I was able to save it to the Cloud only. I shut down my computer. Turned back on, opened the file from the cloud and then was able to save as to my computer / then selected to save to my iCloud folder, something which I wasn't able to do yesterday. Any ideas going forward?Janet Haw shared this idea ·
Hi there,
Please help. I am on the latest version of Illustrator. I have restarted my machine, uninstalled and reinstalled illustrator, but I am still getting the error message. I'm not sure what to do. Try and restart the files altogether?
Appreciate your advice.
