Document won't save
Hi there.
I have been working in a new file I created, and I am unable to save the file. I have tried exporting, and quitting such that illustrator asks if I want to save. Nothing happens. I am stuck here, as I will otherwise loose the work I have done. Any suggestions???

The problem got solved by resaving the original document and no longer can be reproduced.
If you have a similar issue, try to search for a similar bug report which matches yours exactly or log another one, providing as many details as possible to help the team to investigate it.

Unfortunately after I was able to open up the icloud version and resave it, I no longer have it at that location. There wasn't any differences in the files, and I don't work in layers. If it's okay with you, I'll see if/when it happens again and get back to you?

Can you please send the link to the saved copy you were able to get to sharewithai@adobe.com? How does it differ exactly form the file that you were not able to save? -

You didn’t reply about the locked/hidden layers, Janet :)
The thing is the document with these get saved, but immediately is marked as unsaved, with an asterisk in the document’s tab — that’s why I am asking this.
If this is the case — it’s one issue. If not — another one and need further investigation. -
Hi Egor,
I was able to save it to the Cloud only. I shut down my computer. Turned back on, opened the file from the cloud and then was able to save as to my computer / then selected to save to my iCloud folder, something which I wasn't able to do yesterday. Any ideas going forward? -
Janet, does you document by any chance have hidden or locked layers?
If yes — please try to unlock/unhide them and try again.
