    Done (In Prerelease)  ·  AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) responded

    The assumed fix for this problem is pushed into the Prerelease 28.2.521 version, which is available for members of the Prerelease program only.

    After the Prerelease community verifies the fix, it’s going to be pushed into the next general access build or Beta build.

    The status will change then. Stay tuned!

    This is happening occasionally in Illustrator v27.2. It doesn't happen in every file, but when I open a file that that has this bug, it will do it every time on the affected text, even after a reboot.
