I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.0.2 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

Illustrator has no problems working with them, except when you need to change the case, whether you do that by Type->Change Case or by changing the character attribute to All caps (or small caps for that matter).
This is a recurring bug in Illustrator, which has been fixed at least twice before, but somehow creeps in a few versions later.

An error occurred while saving the comment Andres Magnusson commentedAfter working for a while in Illustrator (perhaps a little under an hour) doing not very taxing graphics, the preview turns off and defaults to outline. Attempts to turn the preview back on fail with an alert complaining that the app has run out of memory. Activity Monitor confirms that Illustrator is using considerable memory, typically well into 2 Gb. Workaround is to save the document, quit and restart.

Please share your thoughts on the following:
1. Would it make sense to have a separate desktop app, just to create charts, and bring them inside Illustrator or InDesign? It may not be on cloud.
2. Or would you rather have us work on building it within Illustrator?
Thanks
